1. Starting salary - ¥258,000 plus an ¥8000 monthly bonus if you aren’t late or absent
2. 7 weeks of school vacation time, plus 5 days of your own choice (after working with us for 6 months)
3. Working hours - 8:55-18:00 (Monday to Friday). Some lessons finish at 18:15 or 18:30, in which case you will receive paid overtime
4. Up to ¥20,000 per month for commuting costs

Our Preschool

(for children aged 2 to 6 years of age)

In our preschool classes, we do not aim to teach our students English, rather allowing them to gain various experiences and take part in different activities where they are using English in an organic way. These activities often build up to a big event, such as our Shopping Day, where the students are divided into groups and given roles to play in the successful operation of their shop. Events such as these prove to be very rewarding, both for the students and the teachers, and a very effective way for the students to put their budding English skills to good use.

Our After-School

(for children aged 3 to 12 years of age)

After-school classes vary depending on the age and level of the students, but we have a strong focus on developing confident, fluent readers. To help achieve this, we offer a range of different reading activities using interesting and relevant materials for each level of student. Recently, students have started using a subscription reading app on tablets, that they can also use at outside of school, giving them access to hundreds of books wherever they are! To encourage students to read more, there are different reward systems in place, including monthly leaderboards, and prizes for reaching certain milestones.

Special events:

Throughout the school year, we have lots of exciting events for the children and teachers to take part in, including school trips to the zoo, Christmas and Halloween parties, end-of-year performances, speech contests, and an English camp in Chichibu.
